About Noah

Noah is 10 years old. He has struggled with mental illness for the past 18 months. He has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, anxiety, and depression. Noah has had countless hospital admissions in the past 18 months to attempt to stabilize his medications. There is a limited amount of doctors here in Arizona that are familiar with Noah's complex condition and his difficulty tolerating the medications to treat it.

After much research, we, his parents, have decided to take Noah across the country to Cincinnati Children's Hospital. They have some of the best psychiatrists in the world here for children Noah's age. The hospital has a waiting list, so we were over whelmed with happiness when we were told that Noah was pushed through the waiting list and is set for admission.

How you can help him

Family support is very important in the program that Noah will be in. Tim and I will take turns staying in Cincinnati, while the other stays in Arizona with our other 2 children, who also have extensive special needs. The length of stay could be a minimum of 2 or 3 weeks to a maximum of 4 months or longer depending on how he progresses through the program and responds to treatment.

The cost of the trip will depend on the length of stay. The first month will cost us nearly $3000.00 plus any acquired medical bills. The $3000.00 will cover air fare, lodging, food and transportation.

Please, if you or someone you know could help us in any way, we will be forever grateful! We are confident that with the best doctors and the best treatment that we will get to spend the rest of our lives with the little boy who use to love life so much!
